Security alert closes M1 near Dungannon

Part of the M1 near Dungannon, Co Tyrone, has been closed because of a security alert.

A suspicious object was found at Tamnamore.

The motorway has been closed in the direction of Belfast between junctions 13 and 14, the turnoff for Coalisland.

Police have cordoned off the part of the road and motorists are advised to use an alternative route if possible.
