The Big Freeze: Is the Govt doing enough?
Aftermath of the flooding crisis
Rita O'Reilly visits some of the people worst affected by last November's flooding, and finds a great deal of anger directed at a perceived lack of Government action.
Minister Gormley says that he sympathises with the flood victims, and that funding for flood risk measures has been doubled.
- Dr Tom Clonan, Security Analyst, believes that the state has the facilities needed to deal with these crises, but that there is a lack of political will to instigate emergency procedures.
