Cash held in ATMs to be reduced in NI

The amount of money stored in some cash machines in Northern Ireland is to be reduced in a bid to stop ATM thefts.

A company running the network of machines is also offering a £25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the robbers.

There have been 20 ram raids across the North since March.

Heavy construction equipment such as mechanical diggers have been used to steal the cash machines.
