Eight now held in Limerick murder probe

Eight people are now being questioned by gardaí in Limerick in connection with the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Danny Fitzgerald.

Mr Fitzgerald was shot dead on Tuesday night at a property near Beary's Cross on the Tipperary road.

A man was arrested last night, bringing the number of people in custody in relation to the incident to eight.
