Man's body discovered in Dublin

The body of a man has been recovered from the Grand Canal in Dublin, 13 days after a man went missing in the area.

The body was found in part of the canal at Lower Baggot Street, shortly after 1pm today.

A post mortem examination is to be carried out on the body, which has not yet been identified.

In recent days, Garda divers have searched the canal for 37-year-old Damian O'Brien from Cork, who has been missing since 27 November.
