Three held after shot fired through window

Three people have been arrested in connection after a shot was fired through the window of a house in Dublin.

Gardaí in Blanchardstown have arrested three people as part of an investigation into an incident in which a shot was fired through the window of a house in Sheephill Avenue, Corduff in Dublin.

The incident occurred at approximately 3.40am yesterday morning.

There was one woman in the house at the time, but no-one was injured.

Gardaí responding to the incident stopped a car on the Blakestown Road shortly after the incident and arrested the three occupants of the car.

Two men and one woman, all 19-year-olds, three people are currently being detained in Blanchardstown Garda Station.

Gardaí recovered a sawn-off shotgun in the course of a follow up search of an open area in Mulhuddart.
