It brings to 18 the number of deaths from the virus in Ireland.
There are 181 people in hospital with the virus and 12 are in intensive care.
The number of infections has fallen with just under 11,000 new cases seen in the last week.
However, the Department of Health has expressed concern at the low uptake of the vaccine among children aged six months to under five years.
The Department said it has sent letters to over 250,000 parents.
It believes the decline in cases may be a cause of complacency among some people who need to be aware of the particular risk to children.
The HSE says an additional problem is people booking appointments at clinics but not turning.
The Irish Medicines Board has said there have been 483 adverse reactions to the vaccine and there have been no serious unexpected safety issues.
Medical Director Dr Joan Gilvarry said that most of the adverse reactions have been mild.
