Man held over Cabra cash-in-transit robbery

A 36-year-old man is being questioned by gardai investigating the robbery of a cash-in-transit van in Cabra in Dublin.

It happened at the post office on Ashtown Grove yesterday morning.

They fired a number of shots and made off with over €35,000 in cash.

In a follow up search, detectives recovered 1kg of heroin with an estimated street value of up to €200,000.
