Elderly woman dies in Offaly house fire

An 87-year-old woman has died in a house fire in Co Offaly.

The blaze broke out at a house at St Cormac's Park, in Kilcormac, at about 9.30am.

Gardaí are investigating the incident and a technical examination is being carried out at the scene.
