Man arrested over Kildare drug seizure
Thursday, 19 November 2009 17:36Gardaí from Naas and the National Drugs Unit have seized over €1.6m worth of cannabis and cocaine in Kildare.
The drugs were found when a jeep was intercepted on the way to Limerick this afternoon.
120kg of cannabis and 2kg of cocaine were found in cardboard boxes.

A 36-year-old man from Limerick was arrested and can be held for up to seven days.
Gardaí believe the haul was destined for Limerick's criminal gangs.
