Glanbia seeks up to 65 redundancies

Glanbia plc has announced they will be seeking around 65 redundancies in its Irish diary ingredients sector.

Glanbia has announced they will be seeking around 65 redundancies in its Irish diary ingredients sector.

Up to 55 of the job losses will be at the company's facility at Ballyraggett in Co Kilkenny.

Some jobs will also be lost at the Glanbia plant in Virginia, Co Cavan.

The company says the redundancies will be voluntary and that negotiations with the unions involved will begin immediately.
