Two men are to appear before Dublin District Court today on charges arising from an attempted robbery of a jewellery shop in Dublin city centre on Friday.
The two men, aged 41 and 26, face two charges each relating to the incident in the Dawson Street premises, one of robbery and one of possession of a firearm.
A third man, who was injured after he was tackled by the owner Ken McDonagh when he grabbed his wife Fiona, is still in hospital.
He is expected to be discharged and questioned later this week.
