Group discusses compensation from Libya
Sunday, 1 November 2009 19:58A cross-party delegation representing victims of IRA violence has been holding a series of meetings in Libya in an effort to secure compensation for them.
Libya supplied the IRA with weapons and explosives during the 1980s.
The delegation comprises three MPs and three Lords members including the DUP's Nigel Dodds and Jeffrey Donaldson and the British Labour MP Andrew McKinley.
The DUP said its party representatives would make a full statement tomorrow on the talks when they return home.
