Report on religious orders' finances

watch

The department of Education is to receive details about the finances of the religious orders, at the centre of the Ryan Report.

Eighteen religious orders agreed to disclose full statements on their finances, in order to make greater contributions to the victims of institutional abuse.

The assessment was carried out by a three person panel led by Frank Daly, the former Chairman of the Revenue Commissioners.
