Two parents with children in Our Lady's Childrens' Hospital in Crumlin give their perspective on the standard of treatment available in the hospital.
Gerry O'Dwyer of the Health Service Executive defends the way Our Lady's has been, and is being, managed.
A number of patients representatives challenge the HSE on the way the hospital operates. Dr Paul Oslizok, consultant cardiologist, gives his professional viewpoint as someone who works in Our Lady's.
Brian Gilroy, HSE Director of Commercial & Support Services, speaks about the future of pediatric care according to plans set out by the Executive. Dr Oslizok and retired consultant, Dr Fin Breathnach, respond.
Gerry O'Dwyer responds to a claim that the HSE is wasting money in the admistration process. Several parents of patients in Our Lady's then give their side of the story.
Pat Kenny asks Brian Gilroy about the timeframe for the opening of a new pediatric hospital. The debate following his response continues in the audience.
A broader debate about the management and operation of Our Lady's continues with contributions from a range of people with various viewpoints.
