Negotiating teams from the Green Party and Fianna Fáil resumed their talks this evening after a break for a Cabinet meeting.

Negotiating teams from the Green Party and Fianna Fáil have resumed talks after a break for a Cabinet meeting.

It is understood the discussions have reached key issues which will have to be resolved it there's to be a final agreement.

The two parties have had 40 hours of talks over seven days with a view to agreeing a new Programme for Government, which is to be put to a special Green Party conference on Saturday.
