The court heard that two million documents, many in electronic format, have now been seized from Anglo Irish Bank.

The lawyers were seeking clarification in relation to nine documents that the court heard may be subject to legal and professional privilege.

A similar application was heard by the court in May.

Mr Justice Peter Kelly said the same procedures agreed by both parties at that time should be applied in this case and he adjourned the matter in case any dispute arises.
