A 19-year-old man has died in a road accident in Foxford, Co Mayo.
He was the driver of a car which hit a pillar on Station Road at around 1am. No other vehicles were involved.
Four other people who were in the car were taken to hospital, but their injuries are not thought to be serious.
A technical examination of the scene was due to take place today.
