Farmers shift support from FF to FG - poll

A Red C poll in the Irish Farmers' Journal shows a big shift in support from Fianna Fáil to Fine Gael among farmers.

62% of farmers said they would now vote for Fine Gael, which is an increase of 22% from the last time they were polled in May 2008.

25% of farmers polled said they would vote Fianna Fáil, which is a drop of 21% since the last poll.

Labour are on 3%, up 1%; the Green Party are on 1%, down 1%; Sinn Féin remains at 3%; while others are at 6%.
