The new Queen of the Plough is Co Wexford school teacher Eleanor Kehoe, who is a daughter of former World Ploughing Champion Martin Kehoe.
Two of her brothers and two of her sisters have already won All-Ireland Ploughing titles in previous years.
An estimated 80,000 spectators attended the second day of the National Ploughing Championships in Athy, Co Kildare this afternoon. That is the same figure as this day last year.
The event's organisers were relieved by today's good attendance.
And despite the drop yesterday, with a good attendance tomorrow, they will reach their target of 180,000 over the three days.
