Europe pushes for bankers' pay curb at G20

The world's biggest economies are pushing for their issues to be placed on the agenda of the G20 meeting this week.

The head of the World Bank has appealed for the inclusion of 'responsible globalisation' linking balanced growth and financial stability with development and climate change.

European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso is appealing for limits to be placed on bankers' bonuses.

US President Barack Obama said he would push leaders to reshape the global economy after the financial crisis.

This is the third meeting in less than a year of the leaders to co-ordinate their response to the changes in the economy.
