A woman has died in a road crash near Athenry, Co Galway.
The single car crash occurred on the Athenry to Galway road at 11.15pm last night.
The 25-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second woman in her 30s, who was travelling in the car, was slightly injured.
