Agriculture Minister Brendan Smith has said the second instalment of REPS 4 payments for 2008 will be paid in the coming week.
The Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries & Food, Brendan Smith has said the second instalment of REPS 4 payments for 2008 will be paid in the coming week.
The payments to over 11,000 farmers will amount to some €12m.
Farmers in recent times have protested over the minister's decision to close entry to the Rural Environment Protection Scheme.
