Fire destroys building at Belfast Zoo

A café at Belfast Zoo on the Antrim Road in the north of the city has been destroyed in a fire.

Scene sealed off

Police and fire crews were alerted to the blaze shortly after midnight but were unable to save the building.

The scene has been sealed off and an examination will be carried out to establish the cause and whether the fire was started maliciously.
