Cowen meets abuse victims' groupsWednesday 03 June 2009 22.54
The Taoiseach has told survivors of abuse that he will keep them informed on his meeting with the religious congregations.
Brian Cowen is due to meet representatives of the 18 religious congregations cited by the Child Abuse Commission tomorrow.
Clonmel-based Michael O'Brien of the Right to Peace Organisation described tonight's encounter between eight groups and Mr Cowen and four of his ministers as 'very positive'.
He said that the groups were looking forward to similar meetings in the future.
