Last Titanic survivor dies at 97
Sunday, 31 May 2009 20:36The last remaining survivor of the sinking of the Titanic has died.
97-year-old Millvina Dean was only nine weeks old when she was carried off the sinking ship.
She spent her final years in a nursing home in Southampton on the English south coast.

A recent campaign by the author and campaigner Don Mullan succeeded in getting the stars of the film Titanic to help pay for her nursing home fees.
