A 63-year-old pedestrian died in a crash in the early hours of this morning in Co Sligo.
The man was struck by a car on the Tubbercurry to Ballymote Road just after midnight.
The man was taken to Sligo General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The road between Ballymote and the Five Roads was closed for technical examination but has since been reopened.
