A truck driver has been killed in a crash in south Co Kilkenny.
The collision happened near Mooncoyne on the main Waterford to Carraig-on-Suir road at around 4.15pm this afternoon.
No other vehicles were involved.
The road remains closed and diversions are in place.
Meanwhile, an 18-year-old woman has died in a road crash in Connemara in Co Galway.
The crash happened at 9.25pm last night at Cill Chiaráin in the Carna area when the car the woman was driving left the road.
She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was removed to University Hospital Galway.
The Cill Chiaráin to Rosmuc Road is closed at present pending an investigation.
