Visteon workers accept redundancy deal

Workers at the Visteon car components plant in Belfast have voted to accept an improved redundancy deal.

They have also agreed to to end their sit-in at the factory.

About 200 former employees had been staging a sit-in for several weeks, since it was announced that the plant was to close down.

Staff are expected to receive about one year's salary under the deal, which has been recommended by unions.
