A man has died after a milk tanker he was driving struck a house in Emyvale, Co Monaghan this morning.
The accident happened at around 10.30am on Main Street in the town.
The truck crashed into three houses, causing serious damage to two of them.
A 13-year-old who was inside one of the houses at the time of the collision was uninjured.
The driver, a man in his 50s, was the only occupant of the truck.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body taken to Navan General Hospital.
The road has now reopened.
