Famous for his portraits of celebrities such as Kate Moss and Britney Spears, photographer Rankin was recruited to bring the human face of those displaced by war in DR Congo to Ireland.
Entitled Cheka Kidogo (laugh a little), the exhibition comprises 32 portraits of the residents of Mugunga camp, home to 17,000 people displaced by violence in DR Congo.
The portraits are being exhibited in Wolfe Tone Park (opposite Jervis Street shopping centre) in Dublin until 31 July.
