Motorists in Waterford experienced severe traffic disruption in the city as taxi drivers took part in a work stoppage in a protest over the number of taxi licences being issued.
Taxi drivers carried out a go-slow along the quays and across the Bridge from 12pm until 3pm this afternoon.
The Taxi Driver Association in Waterford says the market is swamped due to endless licences being issued.
