Dublin Bus management have agreed to defer for one week implementation of cost cutting measures due to come into force next Sunday.

The Labour Court today agreed to a request by unions for clarification on the impact of new work practises.

The bus drivers are particularly concerned about the effect the implementation of legal limits on driving times will have on overtime earnings.

The Labour Court agreed to issue a clarification next Tuesday and Dublin Bus management then agreed to defer cutbacks including the withdrawal of 120 buses from its fleet.
