Ahern booed at NUI Galway

Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern was booed and jostled by a group of about 20 protestors at NUI Galway this evening.

Mr Ahern was there to accept a presentation from the college's Literary and Debating Society.

Gardaí were called in to remove the protestors.
