A major alert at the Israeli Embassy in Ballsbridge has ended after a suspect package was declared a hoax.
The package containing a powder substance arrived there in the post this morning at around 8.30am.
The building was evacuated but only one member of staff was there at the time.
The Dublin Fire Brigade and the Army Bomb Disposal Unit were called to the incident.
Gardaí say the package contained nothing dangerous and the scene has now been declared safe.
Pembroke Road was closed to traffic for a time but has since reopened.
