Gardaí are appealing for information on a road crash in Dublin in which a woman was seriously injured.
The 49-year-old pedestrian was struck by a car which failed to stop on Monkstown Road near Blackrock at 5.45pm yesterday evening.
The woman is being treated in St Vincent's University Hospital.
Gardaí are appealing for the driver of the silver-coloured car, possibly a Nissan Micra, to come forward.
Separately, a man killed in Wednesday's road traffic collision in Co Tipperary has been named.
He was 50-year-old Michael Carew of Croughmakeen, Doon, Co Limerick.
He was fatally injured when his car was in collision with a tractor and trailer outside the village of Dundrum.
