A murder inquiry is under way in Nenagh after the death of a man in an apartment in the town yesterday.
It is understood that the victim, a 29-year-old man from Lithuania, suffered a number of stab wounds and died at the scene.
Three men were detained in connection with the death.
Two men, aged 31 and 26, who were arrested in the Nenagh area, have since been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A 28-year-old man remains in custody at Nenagh Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
