A group of UCD students have occupied the offices of Green Party TD Paul Gogarty in Lucan, Co Dublin.
The students say they are protesting against the Budget hike in third level registration fees.
It is understood nine demonstrators are in the office. They said earlier this afternoon that they intended to stay for at least a few hours.
The students say they are part of a group called Free Education for Everyone.
