A neighbour of the 29-year-old man who was killed in Larne in Co Antrim a week ago has appeared in court accused of his murder.
Kenny Nicholl, a father of one, was found stabbed to death in an alleyway at the back of Herbert Avenue close to the house he was staying in early on Sunday 2 November.
This morning, 35 year-old Troy McAuley from Herbert Avenue in Larne appeared before Coleraine Magistrates Court charged with murdering Mr Nicholl.
He was remanded in custody to appear again at Larne Magistrates Court on 21 November.
A 60-year-old woman arrested yesterday on suspicion of withholding information has been released without charge.
