A sculpture has been unveiled in Dublin to mark International Day for the Eradiction of Poverty.

A special World Poverty Stone will be unveiled to the east of the Famine Sculptures on Custom House Quay later today to commemorate the event.

Irish agency Combat Poverty has said the day is a chance to publicly demonstrate that world poverty exists throughout the world including Ireland.
