Police in Co Down have appealed for witnesses to a crash in which a two-year-old girl died.
The toddler was struck by a van at Hill Street in Newry shortly before 6pm yesterday evening.
She was rushed to hospital but died a short time later.
It is believed that the girl was from Zimbabwe.
The road was closed for technical examination.
