A woman has died in a road accident in Co Tipperary.
The woman, who is believed to be in her 30s, was a passenger in a car which crashed on the N76 at Kilsheelan at around 10.30am.
The driver, a man in his 40s was seriously injured.
A nine-year-old boy was also in the car but was reported to have been uninjured.
Meanwhile, a man was seriously injured in a two-car collision at Inverin in Co Galway this afternoon.
He has been taken to Galway University Hospital for treatment.
