PD leader Ciaran Cannon has denied the party is on the verge of doing a deal that would see it being subsumed into Fianna Fáil.
The leader of the Progressive Democrats has denied the party is on the verge of doing a deal that would see it being subsumed into Fianna Fáil.
Ciaran Cannon's statement follows a report in today's Sunday Tribune that claims there have been contacts between the two parties.
Mr Cannon said that no deal had been none, nor had an outline agreement been reached with Fianna Fáil or any other party.
