A man has appeared in court in Dublin charged with the murder of a drug dealer in the city almost three years ago.
Craig White from O'Devaney Gardens was charged with the murder of Noel Roche who was shot dead in a car on the Clontarf Road on 15 November 2005.
The investigation into the murder of Mr Roche has been ongoing at Clontarf Garda station for nearly three years.
The 27-year-old was a front seat passenger in a Ford Mondeo car when he was shot dead.
This morning's hearing lasted only a few minutes.
Sergeant Enda Mulryan from Clontarf gave evidence. He told the court that Mr White had nothing to say when the charge was put to him.
Mr White was remanded in custody to appear again at the Dublin District Court next Friday.
