Arrangements are being made to fly home Irish people who have been stranded after the grounding of the company's 21 planes.
The aviation regulator has confirmed that his office has organised replacement flights home for stranded XL passengers up until Monday.
The group, which operates in Ireland as XL Holidays, went into administration early yesterday morning leaving 85,000 holidaymakers stranded abroad.
It declared bankruptcy having failed to secure a rescue package amid deep financial difficulties.
