Hurricane warning as Gustav forms

A hurricane warning has been issued for the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

The warning was issued by the US National Hurricane Center which is monitoring the tropical storm 'Gustav'.

The storm is expected to strike southwest Haiti in the next 48 hours.
