Man charged in NI over 79 counts of fraud

A man has been charged with 79 counts of false accounting and one count of money laundering in Northern Ireland.

The 40-year-old is expected to appear at Newry Magistrates Court on 27 August.

A PSNI spokeswoman said the charges are understood to relate to numerous offences that took place throughout the UK between 2005 and 2007.
