China has said it is 'determined' to implement its regulations over Internet access for reporters covering the Olympic Games, despite accusations of censorship.

Reporters trying to surf the Internet at the main press centre for the Games have found a wide array of sites out-of-bounds.

Blocked sites include those for human rights group Amnesty International, the Tibet government-in-exile, press freedom watchdog Reporters Without Borders and various Chinese dissident organisations.

A spokesman of the Beijing Olympic organising committee earlier identified sites linked to the Falungong spiritual movement, which is outlawed in China, as ones that would remain censored for the foreign press at Olympic venues.
