More than €20,000 worth of couture outfits by the Irish designer Helen Cody have been stolen.

More than €20,000 worth of couture outfits by the Irish designer Helen Cody have been stolen in Dublin.

The designer said she discovered that 18 pieces were missing when she arrived at her studio in Dublin city this morning.

She said many of the pieces were made of antique materials and would be hard to replace.

Helen Cody has been nominated for the designer of the year, along with John Rocha.
