Dublin Bay Task Force launched

The Dublin Bay Task Force has been officially launched to examine the future development of the Bay.

Minister for the Environment John Gormley officially launched the project this afternoon.

The Task Force will consider any tension that may arise between commercial interests and the protection of the Bay's heritage.

It will also deal with the questions of climate change and projected rises in sea-levels.

Dublin Bay has already been designated a Special Protection Area.
